ABOUT BLACK & GOLD COLLECTION
The Black
The piece comes from my previous collection, "The Butterfly of the Future." The collection is inspired by the pupa turning into a beautiful butterfly. The Butterfly life cycle is a big influence on this piece as I combined both elements of a caterpillar and a butterfly. The material I used in this collection is patent leather that gives a shiny and high gloss finish. I chose to use the color black as it symbolizes sophistication and elegance. This collection evokes a futuristic yet sensual feel because of the silhouette and glossy effect of the material.

The Gold
Our capsule collection is named "metamorphosis". It is a series of clothing that our studio is currently venturing into: change and progress. Some pieces, most notably the gold bustier armor, is made mostly of 3d printed elements and PVC sculpted shapes. We want to exude that "uncanny valley" vibe where things don't add up or fall into sa singular category much like using the future to rebuild and restructure that past.
